We finished up our weather unit by studying different types of clouds. Second graders created posters, which included information on cumulus, cirrus, and stratus clouds. After making the information poster, we decided to take a creative approach. We read the books It Looked Like Spilt Milk by Charles G. Shaw and Little Cloud by Eric Carle. After reading about different shapes clouds (usually cumulus) can be, the students created their own shapes. Check out the finished products!
