We spent a lot of time learning about and discussing Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this week. We read a variety of books, watched two short videos and created artifacts to demonstrate our knowledge of what Dr. King stood for. Second graders were also challenged to think about how THEY could make the world a better place. They wrote their thoughts down and created some BEAUTIFUL pieces of writing. The artifacts and writing will be on Seesaw. If you haven't signed up for parent access this would be a great time to join and see your child's work. Here are some snapshots of the second graders working on their projects. I will upload more examples of the finished writing later today! Enjoy!
