Today all of 2nd Grade got together for yearbook signing. Our dress up day was..Dress Alike Day!
Yesterday the second graders did the final steps of their stop motion animation projects. They went outside and used nature for inspiration for the background for the videos. Next, the second graders went inside and used a "Green Screen" app to create their videos using their background images. Finally, the final projects were uploaded to YouTube and Seesaw. The videos the students created may be short, but the second graders put a lot of time, knowledge, and effort into creating this project for our plant unit.
Today was Sports Day and we had a picnic in the classroom. It was also the carnival. I will add a video of all of the photos from the carnival next week. Today was NO SHOES in the classroom day. When we popped the balloon we discovered it was Creation Day! Students were allowed to create with various art supplies and building materials. It was so much fun!! |
